Bilingual Spanish/English Required
20– 25 Hours per Week
 
The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in working in a culturally
diverse program focused on preparing children and families for kindergarten. S/he will have
strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with different
staff members.
The Receptionist greets families and visitors, answers the phone, and provides information
about CAPIC Head Start and community resources. S/he conducts intake appointments,
accurately records all information in the database, and files applications. The Receptionist
assists with a wide array of administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, ordering and creating
correspondences.
 
 REQUIREMENTS:
Friendly, polite and willing to learn
Strong oral/written communication skills
Fluency in Spanish and English
Strong computer skills
Able to work afternoon hours between 12:00pm -5:30pm
