Applications are now open for our next class of leaders—people like you who want to serve up change in your community. We encourage you to apply early; we're reviewing applications on a rolling basis. Positions are open in 17 states and the D.C. Metro Area.

PLTI is a free program seeking to enable parents to become leading advocates for children. Parents are offered a whole day retreat on Saturday, January 12th to develop group cohesion and define mission and 20 workshops on for parents on leadership, civic literacy, and civic participation skills. (attached more information and schedule for the classes.)

Workshops are held on Wednesday nights from 6-9 PM. is a community web portal sponsored by the Healthy Chelsea Coalition with an emphasis on issues that affect our health. Our goal is for to become the “first stop” for information about the city of Chelsea.  Most of all, we intend for to be a place where we can celebrate our city and connect its people and organizations to enhance the social, civic, and physical health of our community.
